Founded in 1920 to engage military and federal government engineers with those in private life for the purpose of improving the engineering and construction potential of the United States, the Society today has some 25,000 members from industry, the military, government, and academia.

S.A.M.E. brings together Contractors, Architects, Engineers, Environmental Professionals, Landscape Architects, Marketing Professionals, Planners and those in engineering-related fields:
